Larry Blackledge
NWMOC Director
With
a degree in Industrial Engineering and over 20 years experience in
Industrial Management, Larry Blackledge’s experience reaches from the
shop floor to general management. Larry’s experience has been
concentrated in Operations Management; this includes managing company
processes such as Strategic Planning, Demand Planning, Sales and
Operations Planning, Capacity and Inventory Control, as well as
Scheduling and Customer Service.
Larry is recognized by the National Institute of Standards and
Technology (NIST)/Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) as a
Professional Business Advisor (PBA). This designation recognizes not
only the experience level but also unique skills in business assessment
and executive coaching to achieve the very best results for a company.
Larry is certified by NIST/MEP in Enterprise Assessment, Project
Management, e-Business Strategies, along with Lean Manufacturing
principles, which include: Setup Reduction, Pull Kanban Systems, Value
Stream Mapping, Cellular/Flow Implementation, and Total Productive
Maintenance (TPM).
As a Project Manager for the Northwest Wisconsin Manufacturing Outreach
Center (NWMOC), Larry has helped companies in many different industries
reduce lead times, increase productivity, improve on-time delivery,
reduce changeover time, reduce inventories, increase employee
involvement, implement manufacturing strategies, and develop and
implement e-Business strategies.
